Which class suits my child?

Seals Swimming's ability groups enable children to receive tuition that is relevant to their capabilities. Children progress quicker if they are in the class that suits their age and ability. We expect a pupil to move up at least one class level every two terms.

Swimming is a life skill that can be enjoyed at all ages throughout our lives, it is beneficial to your children's health and development and could save a life.

Children progress quickly if they are in a class that is relevent to their age and ability. Our lessons aim at improving confidence, technique and stamina. We also incorporate plenty of fun during the lesson.

Crash Courses

Crash Courses

An excellent introduction to swimming lessons.

Many of the children begin to swim during the week's crash course.  Crash courses are very useful if your child is nervous or frightened or is having difficulty during their normal lessons. Our crash courses are designed to help and to give the children fun in the water.

My child  has come on further in two weeks with you, than he has with years of swimming lessons at other schools.

LESSONS

Swavesey - Ratio 1 teacher to 4 children at Swavesey, The Windmill Pool, Crash Courses £60 weekly lessons £135 for 12 lessons

Cambridge/Linton  - Ratio for non and weak swimmers 1 teacher and usually 1 helper in the water with 6 children otherwise 1:6 £92.50 for 12 weeks.

The Windmill Pool is located in Hale Road, Swavesey. It is 32 degrees Centigrade, 6m x 4m, 0.9m - 2m deep.Ratio 1:4 teacher to pupils. Cost £110 for 10 weeks.

The Grove Pool

The Grove is a small hydrotherapy pool. It is 8 metres x 6 metres, and shelves from 0.5 to 1.1 metres. It is a warm and pleasant pool for children to learn to swim and to improve technique, Parents watch lessons. The Teacher to Pupil Ratio is 1:6 but for for non swimmers we have a helper in the water alongside the teacher. The cost of the 12 weeks is £92.50.

Granta School in Linton is one of two new schools built in Cambridgeshire to cater for children with a range of complex special educational needs adjacent to Linton Village College. The hydrotherapy pool is 10 metres x 5 metres with a depth of 1.2 metres. Parents may watch from poolside.The Teacher to Pupil ratio is 1:6 however for non swimmers the teacher is in the water with a helper, the cost is £92.50 for 12 weeks.
